And lock the bathroom door.<br /><br />I've never had gout myself, but I did some googling and apparently cherries help. One guy says he gets a can of tart cherries, eats them all and drinks the juice. Another person said dried cherries work. It couldn't hurt, and I don't think anyone could eat enough cherries to put on weight. Unless the cherries have been covered in chocolate. But let's not go there.<br /><br />Drink water until you start to float away. And stay away from pork. My mom says eating pork makes her arthritis flare up, and gout is a type of arthritis.Marta O.
