Thanks.

Christine,
I actually thought the snacks were supposed to be around 200 calories . . . because that is what your body needs to sustain you over a two to three hour period. Hmmm . . .

Shauna,
I need to find something like that! But all of my rewards that I would consider rewards I've been in the habit of ALSO eating food during those times . . . such as reading! Sigh.

Tristi,
The lean cuisine meals aren't TOO bad especially compared to some of the others--but yeah. You're right. Too much sodium is bad . . . also too much high fructose corn syrup--a lot of stuff has high fructose corn syrup in it, including my Lean Cuisines. Sigh. It'll be easy to watch the sodium though because Fitday tracks sodium too. Thanks for the suggestion!Shanna Blythehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17644888411456648463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6992446870845669635.post-37294436577846203832009-08-28T10:16:15.040-07:002009-08-28T10:16:15.040-07:00Sounds pretty good - but while you're looking ...Sounds pretty good - but while you're looking at calories, I'll also encourage you to keep an eye on the sodium. Eating a lot of sodium is hard on the heart, and frozen meals do tend to be heavy on the sodium.

Main thing is, you've got your eyes on the prize!! Woohoo!Tristi Pinkstonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12122250747480013804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6992446870845669635.post-38266834717783009572009-08-25T23:37:38.814-07:002009-08-25T23:37:38.814-07:00I always try to find nonfood "rewards" t...I always try to find nonfood "rewards" that I really enjoy, don't take too long, and distract me from the "eat eat eat" urge until the water/small snack has had time to kick in. I love painting my nails, putting on special lotion I absolutely love, and coloring, among other things. I know, coloring sounds a bit silly, but it is one of my small pleasures!Shaunahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10565310646552824797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6992446870845669635.post-43802834810580851692009-08-25T22:25:06.066-07:002009-08-25T22:25:06.066-07:00Snacks are great but keep them under 150 calories....Snacks are great but keep them under 150 calories. There are some great power bars that work and those little 100 calorie prepackaged things. BUT you only get one. (I always want to eat four).Christine Thackerayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05551874470033926037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6992446870845669635.post-12960926767182126442009-08-25T16:09:27.714-07:002009-08-25T16:09:27.714-07:00https://www.brothersallnatural.com/view/category_F...https://www.brothersallnatural.com/view/category_FRUITCRISPS.htm

I love these for snacks. The pears have only 40 calories and are the equivalant of 1.5 pears. The pears are my favorite, followed by the strawberries and then the apples. My grandson loves them, my kids love them. Try them for a pick me up snack when you have the munchies or want to reward yourself.Sandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03761951935843784725noreply@blogger.com
